What I Bring For Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving, we go to both sides of the family. We go to my family’s lunch earlier and then head over to my in-laws’ a little later in the evening. I try to make big batches of the same food for both houses so I’m not cooking several different foods for both places.

I’m bringing corn casserole. This is a family favorite on both sides.

I’m also bringing spicy broccoli casserole. I love spicy food and this is low carb. Since we have diabetics on both sides, I like to contribute several dishes that won’t raise blood sugar levels.

I also bring tiramisu. This was the first dessert I ever made my husband and I’ve brought it to every Thanksgiving since our engagement.

The girls usually like to make desserts as well. I’ll share any other recipes we end up bringing.
